A Luxurious Design for a High-end Restaurant
For this project, the owners wanted to update their restaurant, because the design of their building was outdated, made in late 70’s style.
Another goal for the owners was to add additional dining space. So an outdoor patio was considered. Which resulted in the first designs for this project.
This design option for the project was abandoned because the owners decided to go more to the luxurious side. These are some examples of the first design:
For the final design, the exterior dining was reconsidered and an interior / exterior design was chosen. Two different types of exterior wall systems in which one functions as a rain wall.
The dining space adapts to warm and cold weather is achieved by glass overhead doors. When the doors are up, they are concealed above the ceiling which is a feature the owners desired. Another key feature is the see through fireplace. The remodeling netted 50 seats to the restaurant.
In addition to the seating area, a prominent entrance was added.
